August with oscillations: initial temperature rise pointed to an early vintage, but return of rain and cool weather from mid-month significantly slowed ripening of red varieties. Harvest resumed on September 16th Syrah with perfectly mature and balanced grapes. Final result: vintage of elegance that combines aromatic exuberance and acidity characteristic of cool years, with fine textures and great structural balance.

Deep garnet colour of a still young wine. Forest floor, aromatic herbs, clove and cardamom. Blackcurrant and liquorice notes.
Voluminous and concentrated with suggestions of black tea, dark chocolate and damson plum. Peppery tannins impart firm structure. Undoubted aging potential.
