Graham’s Single Harvest Tawny Ports are limited release wines selected decades ago from very good harvests in the Douro Valley. The wines chosen from Graham’s prime vineyards in the finest years were then set aside for long term ageing in seasoned oak casks. In order to qualify as Single Harvest Tawnies, Ports must age for a minimum period of seven years, but Graham’s policy is to only release them following much longer periods. On release, Graham’s Single Harvest Tawnies are rarely younger than 20 years and are often much older, dating back half a century or more.
